(Carson City, NV) — Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford is suing the Trump Administration over threats to end SNAP benefits. Ford is one of 22 other Attorneys General firing back against the proposed cuts. Ford says the USDA has access to billions of dollars in SNAP-specific contingency funds, even though the agency claims they’ve run out of money.
He adds the USDA has funded other programs during the Government Shutdown, which enters its 29th day.
