(Panther Valley, NV) — Volunteers from Rebuilding Together Northern Nevada and Lowe’s in Sparks teamed up on Thursday to give one local woman’s home a much-needed makeover.
Both groups made sure Danie Wilkins had pruned hedges and appropriate cosmetic repairs done to her home, something she is physically unable to do herself.
Needless to say, Wilkins was more than appreciative for the work she received.
Not only did the volunteers help Wilkins by performing three hours of yard and home care, but they also put together a walker that laid dormant for nearly a year in her garage.
Lowe’s representatives said they were proud to join RTNN in improving the lives of those around Washoe County. Volunteers consisted of local non-profit groups and employees with Lowe’s.
