(Carson City, NV) — A driver is alive today in Carson City because of the quick action of a police officer. It happened last night on Highway 50. A wrong-way driver was pulled from a vehicle by Nevada Highway Patrol officers at about 8:20 pm. Afterward, the vehicle burst into flames, according to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong. The incident is still under investigation.
