(Reno, NV) — A woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Reno yesterday. Police say the victim was walking on 8th Street when she was struck. Investigators say the driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and is cooperating. Officials add that speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash. The name of the woman who died has not yet been released.
