(Silver Springs, NV) — Two people were hospitalized after a small plane crashed in Lyon County. Just before 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies with the Lyon County Sheriffs Office received multiple 911 calls reporting an aircraft down in the area of 1100 US Highway 50 in Silver Springs. Police located two occupants and one dog inside the aircraft, a single engine plane. Both passengers were taken to the hospital and their condition is unknown at this time. The crash occurred away from the highway and no other injuries or damage to property was reported.
