(Elko, NV) — Investigators are doing a full autopsy on human bones found buried in a shallow grave in Elko County, Nevada. The bones were discovered over the weekend in an area near Devil’s Gate which is just north of Interstate 80. The Elko County Sheriff’s Office did not say who found the bones or how they discovered the grave. Deputies were not immediately able to determine how long the bones had been there. They hope to identify the deceased person with a more detailed examination. Authorities are treating the case as a homicide.
