Bicyclist Killed In Crash Near Winnemucca

(Winnemucca, NV) — A bicyclist is dead following a crash last month near Winnemucca. NHP says Aregelio Hernandez-Torres was hit by a Pontiac Bonneville sometime in the evening December 16th along Highway 294 near Thomas Canyon Road. Troopers say Hernandez-Torres died Christmas Day at a Utah hospital, and they add he did not have a rear reflector while riding in the travel lane.
