(Incline Village, NV) – Drivers should be cautious if they’re traveling into the Sierra today. With fresh snow on the ground, conditions on Interstate 80 and Highway 50 could be tricky. CHP has enacted chain controls over Donner Summit this morning. The good news is that it’ll warm up quickly today, so the chain controls and wet roads will likely go away by sunset. There are no other major storms forecast to hit the mountains over the next week. As for Reno, we’ve heard reports of fishtailing heading into the Spaghetti Bowl along 395 north this morning, so take your time, enact four-wheel drive if you have it, and allot some extra time as you head out the door.
