(Carson City, NV) — It’s a mixed bag when it comes to snow level readings across Nevada. Around Lake Tahoe, Reno and Carson City, readings show that the snow water equivalent is at or above average levels. The rest of Nevada and the Upper Colorado basin are far below normal. The upper and lower Humboldt River basin near Elko and Winnemucca are dangerously low. There’s still time to make up lost ground, but long-term forecasts do not look promising.
