(Carson City, NV) — Nevada lawmakers still have millions left to spend from the state’s allocation of the American Rescue Plan Act. Nevada received a windfall of two-point-seven billion dollars in flexible pandemic relief funds. As of last month, the state still has 700-million dollars though state officials say they’re confident the money will be spent before the grant expires this next year. At a recent meeting of the legislature’s Interim Finance Committee, lawmakers learned there was a slowdown in pandemic relief aid spending last year compared with the year before.
