(Fernley, NV) — Volunteers turned out this weekend to pick up the wreaths that were laid at Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery for the annual Wreaths Across America event. An estimated three million volunteers took part in Wreaths Across America Day last month. They placed holiday wreaths at more than 56-hundred military cemeteries nationwide in tribute to veterans. In Fernley on Saturday, wreaths were collected to be distributed to local farms.
