(Carson City, NV) — Schools across Nevada are at risk of closing as school districts face massive budget shortfalls. The Nevada Independent says three years after a big funding increase, they’re seeing rising costs, falling enrollment and insufficient revenues. That will likely mean cuts to jobs, programs and salaries. Schools districts are especially hard hit in Carson City, Douglas, Washoe and Elko counties.
