(Reno, NV) — The Reno Police Department says there are a handful of misdemeanor reports connected to anti-ICE protests over the past few days. Large numbers of Washoe County School District students walked out of class on Friday afternoon. A misdemeanor battery report involving an adult counter-protester has been filed. That involved water being thrown and a person with a microphone getting hit. Police also reported a misdemeanor crime when a rock was thrown at a passing car.
