(Reno, NV) – Reno police have released body camera footage from a deadly officer-involved shooting near the Wells Avenue Bridge last week. Officers were called for a welfare check on February 3 and talked with Michael Johnson for more than 15 minutes. The footage shows Johnson refused to leave the bridge, even brandished a knife when officers told him to leave. Johnson refused and was fatally shot after charging at police. He was declared dead at the scene.
