(Washington, D.C.) – Sigal Chattah is no longer the U.S. Attorney for Nevada. The Trump Administration yesterday nominated Las Vegas lawyer George Kelesis as Chattah’s replacement. She held the position on an interim basis, but was appointed acting U.S. attorney when her timeline expired. This was met with criticism, however, as she failed to gain the needed support from the Senate.
