Defendants in Reno High School Vandalism Incident Appear in Court

(Reno, NV) — Six of eight defendants in the Reno High School vandalism incident are pleading not guilty to charges. The six suspects all appeared in court on Thursday. Last week, a grand jury indicted the eight suspects on gross misdemeanor charges of damage of property for educational purposes and willful or wanton disregard of safety of persons or property. Three of the defendants also waived their right to a speedy trial. The vandalism incident, which left major damage, happened on May 22nd.
