Driver Crashes Into NHP Trooper

A driver lost control and slid into a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper investigating an accident Sunday afternoon on Interstate 80. It serves as a reminder to drive carefully in these conditions. The trooper was investigating a rollover accident on westbound Interstate 80 near Virginia Street when a blue Chevrolet sedan driving past the area, slid broadside and hit the trooper. The trooper was taken to the hospital. The troopers injuries were minor, no word on the driver.
