A construction dump truck with a lifted bed pulled down a powerline, causing a widespread power outage in Sparks Tuesday. Sparks Police say the lines went down near El Rancho & Elementary Drives. At one point more than 7,100 customers were without power, and that number was gradually reduced through the day.
