The westbound lanes of U.S. 50 in east Carson City were closed last night after a pedestrian was hit and killed. It happened about 7:24 p.m. near Deer Run Road. The Nevada Highway Patrol says one car and a pedestrian were involved. There’s no word on any other injuries at this time.
