(Carson City, NV) — Former Nevada Democratic governor Steve Sisolak says he’s considering a rematch against current Republican Governor Joe Lombardo. That’s what Sisolak recently told the New York Times, saying he’s been encouraged by other people to challenge Lombardo, who defeated him in the 2022 election. Lombardo won the election by only about one-and-a-half percent. Sisolak, Nevada’s governor from 2019 to 2023, says he’s “looking into it,” as far as running in the June 2026 primary goes. Democratic Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford is also considering running against Lombardo.
