(Cold Springs, NV) — The Rancho Fire in Washoe County has burned around 15-hundred acres of land and is 70 percent contained. The fire started on Thursday afternoon, north of Cold Springs. Evacuation orders were lifted early Friday, the same day forward progress was stopped. Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue says the fire was human-caused. Authorities say they have evidence of a person grinding metal at the time the fire started.
