(Las Vegas, NV) — State Senator Edgar Flores is facing a DUI charge. The Democrat representing Las Vegas was arrested in the city early last Friday morning. Police found him asleep at the wheel while stopped at a traffic light, with the vehicle still running and the keys in the ignition. Officers reported he looked “confused and disoriented.” Flores’ campaign has released a statement on social media saying he was not impaired and had a blood-alcohol concentration of zero. A police report says he refused a preliminary breath test at the scene.
