(Las Vegas, NV) — Governor Joe Lombardo is officially running for reelection in 2026. Lombardo made the announcement on Monday, at his alma mater, Rancho High School. That’s also where he launched his campaign for governor in 2021 and gave his victory speech in 2022. Several hundred people gathered in support of the Republican governor, who says he wants to “finish what we started.” Lombardo has clashed with the Democratic-majority Legislature since he took office. He holds the record as the Nevada governor with the most vetoes.
