(Las Vegas, NV) — Newly released video shows State Senator Edgar Flores’ DUI arrest. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released the body camera footage on Tuesday. It shows Flores asleep at the wheel while stopped in an intersection last Friday morning. Court documents say Flores told police he drank a 24-ounce beer earlier in the night. The video shows an officer trying to wake Flores, who later steps out of his vehicle to conduct filed sobriety tests. In the video, he can be seen and heard saying “I had a beer.” Flores says he was tired from a long day of work but was not impaired.
