(Reno, NV) — The United Soccer League is announcing plans to bring a pro soccer team to Reno. The USL and ownership group Reno Pro Soccer made a joint announcement on Thursday. On September 8th, Reno Pro Soccer closed on the former Jones West Ford site on Kietzke Lane. Its goal is to transform that area into a sports and entertainment district with a soccer-specific stadium for a USL men’s team. The team’s name, colors and crest have not yet been selected.
