(Carson City, NV) — Charges are being downgraded against a woman who was accused of kidnapping. Katryna Bell of Carson City was arrested for allegedly kidnapping four children last month. Police say she took the kids from a park and from an apartment, even though one mother had denied her permission. The felony kidnapping charges are now being replaced with gross misdemeanor charges for false imprisonment. Reportedly, none of the parents knew the suspect, but three of the kids went with her willingly. The Carson City prosecutor says the changes were reduced because they are not able to substantiate that she intended to harm the kids.
