- Another lackluster outing by the Nevada Wolfpack on Saturday as they fell to Fresno State, 20-17. The Bulldogs piled on 20 points in the second quarter while holding the Wolf Pack rally to just 14 points between the final two quarters. Nevada returns home this Saturday to host San Diego State.
- The Las Vegas Raiders dropped to 1-4 with a 40-6 loss to Indianapolis. Quarterback Geno Smith threw two interceptions despite tallying 228 yards through the air. Smith reflected on the team’s loss.
Week five concludes tonight with the Chiefs visiting the Jaguars.
- MLB: The Toronto Blue Jays took a 2-0 series lead after dominating the Yankees, 13-7. Rookie Trey Yesavage set a postseason record with 11 strikeouts, while the Jays slugged five home runs in the game. Meanwhile, the Mariners evened up their series with Detroit with a 3-2 win.
