(Mt. Rose, NV) — We’re expecting to see a few more showers and snow flakes today before the skies clear up and make way for weekend sunshine. Reno will see rain on and off today, with snow above 56-hundred feet. Snow is likely in the Sierra, but forecasters do not expect the storm to produce more than an inch in Tahoe City. However, some peaks like Mt. Rose could see several inches of snow today. Expect chain controls on many mountain roads and passes.
