(Carson City, NV) — Nevada’s top water regulator has vacated his position without warning. Officials at the Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources did not confirm the reason for Nevada State Engineer Adam Sullivan’s departure, nor when he vacated his role. Sullivan served as the administrator of the Department’s Division of Water Resources since 2021. Former deputy administrator Chris Thorson will serve as the acting administrator.
