(Reno, NV) – Nevada Representative Mark Amodei has secured $17.8 million for 10 locally driven projects across the Silver State. The Conferenced Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act passed the House of Representatives on Thursday. The package focuses on supporting access to affordable and reliable energy, strengthens deterrance against foreign adversariesm ensures national parks remain open and accessible, responsibly stewards taxpayer dollars, fully funds programs families and communities rely on, and more. Amodei says the bill contains no “poison pills” and the money will go towards several counties and cities across Northern Nevada.
