(Reno, NV) — A man was arrested for allegedly trafficking a 16-year-old across state lines. Reno police say 23-year-old Melvon Bellard trafficked the girl since she was 15, in both Nevada and California. HEAT Unit members confronted Bellard while he was reportedly in Reno on February 5. He faces charges of sex trafficking of a child, child abuse for sexual exploitation, attempting to live off prostitution earnings, and more.
