(Carson City, NV) – Senator Jacky Rosen is introducing a new bill requiring the Trump Administration to pay back money from tariffs. The bill would require full refunds for importers, including small businesses, that paid tariff-related fees. Rosen is now the second Nevada state official demanding compensation from previous tariffs, as Treasurer Zach Conine recently voice his desire to see the federal government pay the Silver State $2.1 billion over the issue. Trump’s old tariffs were struck down by the Supreme Court on Friday, and now the president is enacting a 15 percent tariff.
