(Sparks, NV) – Sparks police are investigating a homicide that took place Friday night at the Boulder Creek Apartments. They say they found a man with life-threatening injuries just before 11 o’clock, but he was confirmed dead at a nearby hospital. An investigation identified 33-year-old Scott Sorrell of Reno as the suspect. Police say he fled the area prior to police arrival. He was charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon. The victim’s name and details on the killing were not released.
