(Sparks, NV) – Sparks Mayor Ed Lawson has filed for re-election. Lawson has been the city’s Mayor since 2020, when he stepped into the role after the passing of Ron Smith. At the time, Lawson was Vice Mayor and was elected to the Sparks City Council in 2010. Lawson adds “It has been the honor of my life to serve the people of Sparks, We’ve made real progress, but our work isn’t finished. I’m running to ensure Sparks stays on a strong pathway for the future.”
