Brush Fire Near Pyramid Lake Started by Fireworks

Crews knocked down a brush fire near Pyramid Lake last night. It was reported at Rawhide Beach, between Sutcliffe and Nixon. The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District says the fire is burned about one acre. They believe it was started by fireworks. No injuries reported.MORE
