Reno PD are investigating an incident that sent a pedestrian to the hospital yesterday. According to police, a woman was struck by a car around 6:15 p.m. Sunday while walking along Silver Lake Road approaching Stead Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Police do not believe alcohol or speed were factors. They say the victim was transported to Renown for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
