The Nevada Department of Corrections is hosting job fairs in the northern and southern regions of the state, looking to fill several vacancies. There are openings in nursing, correctional staff, information technology, storekeeping and administration, among other departments. There are 273 openings in the department made up of 159 correctional officers, 19 nurses , and eight retail storekeepers, as well as administration, information technology and other vacancies. The job fair in Carson City is April 15th, 11am till 2pm at the Stewart Facility Gymnasium Housing at 5500 Snyder Avenue.
