Nevada Supreme Court Upholds Principal Firing

The state Supreme Court has upheld the firing of the Lemmon Valley Elementary School Principal in 2013. Kara White was fire for allegedly mishandling school funds. That was upheld by an arbitrator, but appealed in Second District Court in Reno, where a judge ruled the arbitrator had exceeded his authority. The case was appealed by the Washoe County School District after efforts to settle the case failed, the High Court found in favor of the district.
