Sandoval Passes on Endorsement of Laxalt

Governor Brian Sandoval passed on an opportunity to endorse Attorney General Adam Laxalt to replace him, and says he can’t “Support a candidate who seeks to undo what we’ve done the past seven years.” He adds cutting school funding would be “devastating” for Nevada. During an event in Las Vegas with Jon Ralston of the Nevada Independent, Sandoval said he “hadn’t endorsed anybody.” Sandoval said he will wait to see what the candidates have to say but reiterated that he would not “support a candidate who seeks to undo what we’ve done the past seven years.” Bottom line, he won’t back anyone who wants to repeal the Commerce Tax.
