Reno Police Identify Victim in Grove Street Shooting

Reno Police have released the name of a man who died Tuesday in a shooting on Grove Street. When police arrived to the apartment complex on the 100 block of East Grove Street they found 31-year-old Patrick McDaniel suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital where he died. Police have recovered his 1995 white Honda Accord, which they had sought after the shooting. Police have not released information about where they found it and under what circumstances. Police say this is an isolated incident and do not believe it was gang-related.
