Last Chance Joe Restoration Entering Final Stage

The Sparks Heritage Museum says the Last Chance Joe restoration project has entered its final stage. Last Chance Joe, the huge miner that sat in front of the Nugget for 57 years, is getting a fresh coat of paint. The completion of this restoration project will preserve “Joe” for future generations at his new home in front of the Sparks Heritage Museum. Work is expected to be wrapped up by the end of the month.
