Possible Hangup For Nevada’s First Execution Since 2006

The drug company that manufactures one of the drugs in the three drug “Cocktail” set to be used on killer Scott Dozier, is suing the state, to stop their product from being used in the execution. Hearings on the lawsuit continue Wednesday morning in Las Vegas. Dozier is scheduled for execution in Ely at 8  Wednesday night. Alvogen says the state got the drug illegally and that the drug is not intended for use in executions. Dozier says he wants the execution to be carried out, “Whether it hurts or not.”
