Firefighters with the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District put out a small brush fire along Pyramid Way Tuesday morning. The fire was reported about 11:30AM in the hills near the Summit Christian Church, just below a water tank. It grew to about a quarter acre before being doused.

The Reno Fire Department knocked down a small brush fire on Longley Lane near Rock Boulevard, around 2 o’clock Wednesday morning. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
