Salinas Man Disappears in the Woods at South Lake Tahoe?

The South Lake Tahoe Police Department is asking the public’s help finding a man reported missing.
35-year-old Alexander Mackenzie was last reported seen leaving his parents’ home in Salinas, California. He told his parents he was going to South Lake Tahoe to study, but while there, he emptied his bank account and turned in his rental car, and was believed to be living in “the woods” at an unknown location. Police say he is not wanted for any crimes and is not believed to be in any specific danger.
Mackenzie is 5’9” and about 190 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the South Lake Tahoe Police Department at 530-542-6100.
