Another Hot August Nights is in the books, and police say the number of arrests were down this time around. In all, 28 people were arrested; that included seven felony arrests and 21 misdemeanor arrests. Two of the misdemeanors were for DUI. 61 citations were also handed out.  Of the seven felony arrests, five were drug-related and one was for burglary and one for a probation violation. For misdemeanor arrests, six were for outstanding arrest warrants, five were for trespassing and three each for having an open container of alcohol and for obstructing and resisting a peace officer. Separate from these, the Street Enforcement Team did undercover work that led to five arrests for prostitution and an additional five prostitution citations.
