Farm Bill Wins Bipartisan Support From Nevada Delegation

The $867 billion farm bill, that includes food assistance for 440,000 Nevadans, was passed by the House Wednesday after Senate approval earlier this week. Nevada’s entire congressional delegation democrats and republicans voted for the bill. Congresswoman Dina Titus was enthusiastic about the bill calling it a “Victory for families, animals and the environment,” and adds it rejected “Cruel cuts” to the SNAP program.
