Gov Sandoval Tries To Ease the Doctor Shortage in Nevada

Governor Brian Sandoval announced funding for four graduate medical education residency and fellowship programs, intended to grow Nevada’s physician workforce. The Governor accepted the recommendations of his Graduate Medical Education Task Force for distribution of $3.3 million approved in the executive budget during the 2017 legislative session. Sandoval says ensuring Nevadans have access to high-quality healthcare has been one of his top priorities in office.
