The Safari Club International Annual Convention opens Wednesday and continues through Saturday. The huge hunting and outdoor show is back for the first time in Reno since 2013. Safari Club drew an estimated 18,000 visitors in 2013 and is expected to bring in 20,000 from more than 100 countries with an economic impact approaching $20 million this time. Safari Clubs Convention is also set to return to Reno each of the next two years. The event jams the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
