Legislators Work On Nevada Abortion Laws

Democratic legislators are working on a bill that would change the abortion consent laws in the state, and no longer require parents to approve. The bill would also remove the direction to doctors, requiring them to tell the patient about the emotional impacts of abortion, or to tell them how far along the pregnancy is before they decide to have an abortion. The bill by Yvanna Cancela also removes penalties for a self induced abortion without the advice of a physician.
