Lyon County commissioners consider a resolution expressing support for the Second Amendment Thursday, in reaction to the background check law, passed by the legislature, and signed by the Governor. Among other things the resolution states county commissioners may decide not to expend resources enforcing the law, and could direct the Sheriff not to enforce it, and that Lyon County supports the rights of private citizens to transfer legally owned property, “Without government interference.”
